I'm back from a short vacation to Malacca.
Yes, It is not a fantasy city or town for travelling and some people might think that "Oh~Malacca........I see."
For me, I think Malacca is a city where many stories in this city.
Seriously, I went to Malacca for four times. But this time was really gave me and inspired me alot.
I can see how friendly they are, how relax they have.
A tourist feeling like me, I feel that the peoples over there have their personal stories
and why they want to choose Malacca town for their entire life.
This is the reason how interesting it is and I feel the simple, relax and the beauty of Malacca.

The city of Malacca is located on both sides of Malacca river near the mouth into the strait of Malacca.
Malacca in Malay we called it as Melaka, dubbed "The Historic State"
It is also the third smallest Malaysia state after Perlis and Penang.

First attraction place would be St.Paul's Church.
St. Paul's Church, a historic church building in Malacca. It built in 1521. It is located at summit of St. Paul's hill and today is a part of Malacca Museum Complex comprising A' Famousa ruins, the Stadhuysand other historical buildings.

A'Famosa
Many tourists might confuse A'Famosa water park and A'Famosa.
This A'Famousa is not only for tourists to take a quick photo stop. It has its story behind of this building.
It built in 1511, the settlement used to sprawl around a whole hillside but right now only left a lone gate (Porta de Santiago) remains. One of the oldest surviving European architectural remains in Asia.
For this settlement, it set beside of Istana ke Sultanan on Jalan Kota. This is Malacca's best known sightseeing spot.
Originally constructed by Alfonso de Albuquerque.

Night time, you still can go to visit Jonker Street because it open until 12am.
The street is quite happening and crowded.
Besides that, You can go to Hard Rock Cafe to spend your night.

Bastion House... It is a musem to exhibit the history of the malay world and islamic world. This heritage buidling constructed in 1910 by British rubber company - Dunlop. this Bastion house was used as the premises of a bank and it called as Basstion House because it located in the vicinity of one of the bastions of Malacca fort.

Trishaw ride !
Why it is so interesting and I want to share with you guys?
Yes. It is a Signature ride in Malacca.
Most of the tourists will get a trishaw ride in front of Christ Church and they will bring you to most of Malacca attractions. As you can see through the pictures, most of the trishaw is well decorated with flowers, flags, personal decorations and with a LOUD music.
You won't feel lonely when you take a ride. They are so friendly and they can introduce you the sights of Malacca and the story behind of the buiding and attractions.

The street we called as "Jonker Walk".
It is a definite heaven for antique collectors and bargain hunters.
You can found some authentic artifacts and relics, some dating as far back as 300 years, and among a host of interesting collectibles. each of itself has its own history and story especially nyonya antique and collections.
Jonker Walk is also known as worldwide amont serious antique collectors as one of the best places to hunt and bargain for antiques.

Alright..After visit the Jonker Walk, what you can do in the evening is having a bottle of beer or tea and sit at riverside.
You can enjoy the relaxing on the rattan chairs overlooking the river and watching peoples go by.
The country music and jazz music is suitable for the evening scene. The drinks is reasonable price and the service attentive.

This is the Malacca Malay Sultanate Water Wheel.
the Malacca river mouth once again witnesses history being created with construction of a 13 meter tall Water Wheel of Malacca Sultanate. Satay is a common food in Malacca even in Malaysia. But the special one is Pork satay from Malacca.
Besides the meat being used, one major difference in Pork Satay also known as Nyonya Satay is peanut dip which mixed with pineapple sauce.

Sun May Hiong, is one of the famous Pork Satay restaurants in Malacca. After you sit down, you will be given a big tray of satays regardless of whether you have ordered or not. After that, you can order as many as you can. When the tray is almost finished the satays will be replenished till you say STOP.
This is the first time i try Pork Satay and I like it so much!
